Hi,

I have just been on the Practical Caravan blog and have been inspired. Like pretty much all Touring Caravan Insurance we also ask that a wheel clamp is fitted when the caravan is attached to the towing vehicle but left unattended.

Alan on the PC blog informs me that he now has a brew up in his van to avoid this issue, this is silly.

I know the risks – more than most as I am a Special Constable as well – infact woking 2pm to 12am tomorrow in North West London – my wife just loves me.

However I am going to try and get our policies altered for next season to try and get a higher excess in place for service station stops so people can have a brew without fussing over the wheel clamp and with maybe a £500 or £1,000 excess we can all happily take the risk – hope none of our competition reads this.

I am off to write some Motor Trade articles now for our commercial we site – it’s all go here!

One last thing though I am in love with my iPod touch – it has to be the best bit of kit I have purchased for years. Sadly though it is just full of my Phil Collins and Genesis collection.

Bye for now.

Rich
