As a director of cover4caravans, I have probably spent more time looking at different static and touring caravans online and at trade shows than most. It is, however, only recently that I have been in the position both financially and at home to consider buying my own touring or static caravan.
Well it is only Tuesday and the week seems to have run out of days already.
Our Touring Caravan Insurance Schemes are running very well and we are also seeing a good number of take up’s online.
I have decided to try and write a regular blog on our Caravan site which people may or may not read. It will contain all kinds of information surrounding our business which may offer an insight into the world of the Insurance Broker.
I thought I would start by telling you a little about myself – please feel free to reply likewise but nothing too rude please!
Where shall I start?
This year, many caravan and motor home users will attend the touring caravan and motor home show. This show offers a view of all the latest equipment, accessories and brand new caravans and motor homes that will be coming out throughout that year. This is also an opportunity for many touring caravan and motor home insurance companies to spread the word about the latest deals that are on offer within the touring and motor home insurance market. Touring caravan insurance and motor home insurance has become very competitive recently, as there are many companies rivaling each other. Touring caravan and motor home insurance companies often set up stalls to give you an insight into what their company is about and how they are able to offer you the most relevant and affordable touring caravan and motor home insurance available.
The caravan and motor home show is now into its 12th successful year and growing larger to exhibit all the latest in caravans and motor homes. The 2007 show attracted 21,000 visitors to Manchester Central. This is why it is an ideal opportunity for touring and motor home insurance companies, to offer the most competitive insurance available for caravan and motor home owners. It is also a good time for caravan and motor home owners to have a look at the caravan and motor home insurance available, for either when their insurance comes up for renewal or if they are new to caravans and motor homes.
If you were to ask the average person for their opinion of Caravans, they will probably talk about their childhood trips to Norfolk, or their Touring Caravan Insurance which is due in the next few weeks. However, for some the Caravan can be a source of entertaining the public and at places like Arena Essex, you can actually watch them banging and crashing around a track for your viewing pleasure!
The track has been running these events for several years at their Lakeside base with great success and the format is used in many different parts of the country. You can also see them as a feature on You Tube, the popular website featuring short clips of modern day life. One can only wonder about the cost of their Touring Caravan Insurance!
Viewers to the ever popular BBC2 series Top Gear, of course will be familiar to the use of Touring Caravans in their game of conkers. Of course the name of Jeremy Clarkson is not one that is welcome on the lips of most Touring Caravan owners due to his much publicised dislike of them. The important point is that the programme may have inadvertently made them more popular, such is the rise of Touring Caravan Insurance policies incepted and the “Credit Crunch” makes holidays in the UK more viable and affordable.
At Cover4Caravans, whilst we cannot cover such uses as the above on your Touring Caravan Insurance, we strive to give the best cover at the most competitive price that we can and believe that the advice we give is the most important aspect in our Clients placing their cover with us. Having made an investment in your Caravan, you need to make sure that all eventualities are covered for you own security and any questions are welcome.
