Good afternoon all,

Well as the title suggests it’s near the end of the month and my Team are doing their usual reports as am I, which will invole the usual bit of work on Saturday to collate together. We are hopeful of adding a new partner to our Static Caravan market and have been testing their rates, they look to be competitive in the areas we hoped for, so this will be live soon, stay tuned!

It’s also my girlfriends last day at work tomorrow before she goes on maternity leave, so we will be having dinner to commemerate the day, and then the real work begins!

We have been secretly working on the ability to upload video’s onto our blog. I now have the camera set up on top of my computer screen and I hope to record something before the weekend is upon us – no promises though as I arrived here at 6am this morning and am no further forward – I am more tired though!

Well it’s Tuesday and the first day back after another Bank Holiday weekend, I must admit that it is rather nice to start the week on a Tuesday!

I have just booked a 5 day, 4 night break in Disneyland Paris and being an Insurance Broker I like an easy life so I thought it would be much easier to use the services of a local Travel Agent in my town – Billericay. How wrong I was. In between them simply not ringing me back they tried to tell me I had to depart on a Saturday despite me asking to go Monday to Friday ideally. Then they quoted well over £1600.

I was shocked so I did not think much more about it until I was moaning about the cost as it meant we could not go away. I then decided to go onto the internet – at the end of the day I buy alot online so perhaps as I did not think the Travel Agenct was adding any value then I should try and find myself a deal.

And a deal I found. 4 nights, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, hafl board including those overpriced character meals with euro tunnell for my car all for less than £1200.00.

Now that was enough to put a smile on my face!

If you are going to be a Travel Agent, Insurance Broker, Estate Agent you have to add value to the chain not be the painful section – I would have happily paid more to the Travel Agent just not that much more!

Well here we are, another Bank Holiday where the weathermen are suggesting getting your barbeque’s out, I for one am in for that!

After having yesterday afternoon off for a midwife appointment (all is well by the way) I was back in the office early this morning to catch up as traditionally a Bank Holiday yields a big day for Touring Caravan Insurance. Reports are suggesting young families are caravanning as a new source of economical holidaying and certain Clubs are reporting a 17% increase in bookings this year.

We look forward to a busy time as well to come into on Tuesday, so happy weekend everybody!
