Dear All

So it’s a case of after the Lord Mayor’s Show today, we had a very productive meeting with insurers yesterday and an interesting exchange of views as always, figues are looking good although an improvement can always be found. We even got to watch the England football match, although international football isn’t as good or as exciting as when i was growing up.

Even more good news is that it’s my fiancee Fliss’s birthday on Saturday and our child is healthy (even if the mother is slightly tired) and we have only 7 weeks to go. I think it’s true to say we just want to have him now!

Still have to go as although being away is a good thing, my desk looks like a tip!

It is good to see that the sunny weather did not last long and come the weekend it was back to rain and coldness, we even had to turn our central heating on – now that is not good at all.

On the positive side we do convert alot more business when the weather is poorly so we have started this week strongly off of the back of a good weekend – so we should not complain too much!

I will submit a further video blog but I have run out of time as today sees me needing to leave early to take the eldest to a party and then I have some School Governor Training and then up to Nottingham tomorrow and back Thursday – another hectic week.

Good afternoon all on a bleak looking Friday, with the weathermen predicting an equally gloomy weekend so it may well be a quiet time at home for me, though Monday I have a visit from the mother-in-law to look forward to.

We have a visit to one of our insurers next week which is always a good time as we pool our ideas and give feedback which is mutually beneficial,and then a few drinks in the evening (not that i’m looking forward to it!!). Anyway, I hope you make the most of your weekend, whatever the weather.
