Countdown to a well deserved break!

Well I am nearly at the end of the week and I have next week off to actually spend some time with the family, we are not going away but we are going to have lots of days out – regardless of this damn weather!

Tomorrow is a sad day for me, I have been a Special Constable in the Met Police for 18 years and tomorrow I will undertake my last duty and then resign my warrant and become a normal citizen for the first time since I was 18!

I have had a great time in the “Met” and am sad to be leaving but I need to commit my time to my business and my family and something had to give and that something was my Police Work.

I will miss my partner of 10 years – Christina Merryfield and it will be a sad farewell tomorrow night – she is also resigning tomorrow.

Life needs to change though and this has been a decision in the making for a couple of years now.

Back to the grind stone now.
