A blog for saturday afternoon

Dear All

Our meeting with insurers went very well this week, a very productive meeting was had with our figures looking good and plans afoot for 2010. We then let our hair down, so to speak, in the evening where one of our party won a decent amount of money at the casino so congratulations to him (I did not have a flutter by the way!)

I also had opportunity to liase with their claims department, much more on this to follow as I am sure you are aware of how vital this area is.

I returned home yesterday to my family whom I missed very much, but my mother in law came down to spend time with Fliss and Jacob to fill the void whilst I was away.

Went into work this morning which was a bit quiet, although that is more about the time of year than anything else.

I hope your weekend is going well, better get back to mine!

Happy touring

Cover4Caravans Static Caravan Insurance widens it’s net!

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Following the introduction of a new Insurer to our Static Caravan Insurance Panel we are now able to offer Static Caravan Insurance for the majority of sites within the UK including Northern Ireland.

If your site has previously been affected by flood or serious damage then we may not be able to offer terms but otherwise our previously restricted rating has really opened up – this is not us being careless but as a result of now having enough knowledge of the Static Insurance market to feel comfortable in opening the rates up to a wider audience.

We hope you will like the new options and we welcome any feedback you may have.

Caravan News – changing Hearts & Minds for Hobby Owners

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Currently we are unable to offer quotations for owners of Hobby Caravans.

There is a historical stigma attached to them going back many years when these models were very sought after by certain groups of thieves.

We wish to re-approach our Underwriters and demonstrate to them why the risk profile has now altered.

Are you a Hobby owner or enthusiast? If you could provide us with any information to help please contact us via this blog as soon as possible.

Time Flies

Good Morning All

I hope you all had a good weekend, the weather was fine although my son Jacob was not in the best of moods but never mind. We had an excellent online weekend and came into bundles of enquiries, as I mentioned on here last week this is the last major caravan month so this is very important.

Well we have an early meeting tomorrow and then for me it is a visit to see our insurers in Nottingham on Thursday. I am looking forward to the day as we always enjoy the exchange of views and ideas with them and to motivate ourselves and our Teams for the next season, and lastly to relax after that with a few beers (well there has to be a reward, doesn’t there!)

Also, I have to arrange my anniversary dinner with my fiancee Fliss. Mmm, I think an Italian beckons although I have to organise a sitter.

Happy touring

Mike

Have a nice weekend

Friday, September 18th, 2009

Dear All

Well the week is over, a somewhat fraught week it must be said and so it is with some glee that we are about to finish. This is a very unusual feeling but I can draw a line under the week and go home to my loving family for a chilled out weekend.

Figures wise we have done well this week, and this is the last big month that we have so it’s important to end the season on a high. We are seeing one of our insurers enxt week as the plan begins for next season, if you have any suggestions for us about what we can do to entice you next year or any opinion then please let me know.

Well, tomorrow I will be taking the family to Southend for a nice walk in the fresh air and Sunday sitting down to watch the big double bill of football.

Happy touring

Mike
