Dear All

I hope all are well today, I have spent the weekend packing up items in our flat as we move to a new house tomorrow, I can officially say I hate moving! Still onwards and upwards, the fence in the garden blew down in the storms over the weekend so a DIY job on the first day is looming. I am also very grateful to my mother in law for coming all the way from Nottingham to ease the burden.

I hate to admit it but I am getting into this X Factor thing, there is a lot more going into the show than I ever thought. I’m rooting for Stacey (well she’s from Dagenham isn’t she!)

Speaking of the weather, I expect a few storm damage claims in today as it was very wet and wild over the weekend which made it easier to stay in and pack.

Also I must say congratulations to my Mum and Dad who celebrate 35 years of marriage today and are taking my Nan and Grandad away for the week (it is their 60th anniversary on Xmas Eve)

Still thought i’d get a blog in today as our internet and phones are going off tomorrow, and will most probably be too busy anyway.

I have our staff appraisals on Wednesday so lots of things to catch up on!

Happy touring

Mike

In an attempt to speed up the healing on the torn tendon in my elbow I took the plunge yesterday and decided to try acupuncture.

Not for the faint of hearted I can tell you – no issue with the needles going in but the pain during the treatment was alot worse than I had expected. This morning there has been no miracle cure – but that was never expected.

She explained everything to me and I very much believe in what I was told and I am expecting some good results over the treatment course (4 to  5 weeks).

New experiences are good for us and I enjoy new challenges and I think this acupuncture is certainly going to be interesting!

How terrible is the weather? Another day stuck in today but then again playing Lego Star Wars with my two boys is not a hard ship!

Have fun.

Funny how the smallest of things can make you think. Robert’s daughter, Sophie, posted on my blog today and where those memories had been put to the back of my mind suddenly they were at the front of it again – it leaves me cold everytime I think about his untimely passing away.

I am lucky and know I am – something we all need to keep reminding ourselves of.

Off to London tonight to catch up with my old Police Buddies – I cannot believe I only retired in July. I dont miss it and I really thought I would. On the other hand I have more than filled any void with my School Governor duties – much to the annoyance of others no doubt!

Going to have a great weekend with the family – something Robert would have always done, make sure you spend time with your loved ones this weekend and tell them that you do – love them.

Richard

We all know that anyone can offer cheap touring caravan insurance and can boast about their excellence, but what happens after you buy your insurance?

I recently had some communication with one of our clients via the Caravanning4u forum who regrettably had a claim on the day that he was travelling abroad in his touring caravan. He was understandly upset at the incident and was in need of urgent help, which was provided by Cover4Caravans as we liased with the insurers and the repairers in order to speed up the process. We know how troublesome these issues can be and we are human after all! I see from forums that many people looking for touring caravan insurance are sceptical of their insurers but we are only here to help.

It was certainly a pleasure to hear from this gentleman as everything fell into place and he was able to enjoy his holiday with the minimum of stress.

If you ever have questions please direct them to me michaels@alanblunden.co.uk or ring me 07786 088722.

Happy touring

Dear All

I hope you all had a good weekend, mine was excellent as we have the keys for our brand new house which is very exciting although the stress of moving is upon us! We had a visit from my family including my Nan and Grandad yesterday to see Jacob, and us as well I suppose!

We had a decent weekend online for the time of year but it’s definatley slowing down, well we are 7 weeks from Christmas I guess. This week sees us looking at our renewals for the minth and hopefully move closer to our targets.

Oh and Arsenal cruised to a win on Saturday evening as well, most satisfactory!

Happy touring
