Being the Phil Collins fan that I am I happened to listen to the Love Songs album last night and it is always good when you hear a different version of a song and the version of True Colours, taken from the Final Farewell Concert rehearsals is a really good version of this classic tune. It certainly took me back to two wonderful evenings I spent at the concert, one at Wembley and another, later that same year, at the Scottish NEC.
Interestingly on his DVD, The Long Goodnight, Phil mentions that the Scottish show did not receive good reviews. Having been to two and the sets were different I would certainly say that the Scottish was a poor comparison to the Wembley one – so perhaps the critics were fair?
On a different note the Bank Holiday weekend looms, the weather promises not be as hot as last weekend but hopefully the rain will hold off a bit for us all to enjoy the longer break.
May has been a great month for Caravans and we continue to drive ourselves forward as a business and niche insurer which is great.
Have a safe break if you are travelling away enjoy your caravan breaks!
