Hi All
Well Sunday is almost over and the weekend has gone, we have just relaxed and spent quality time together. My son has taken his first steps and we have some footage on camera, something for the future.
I have a Team meeting tomorrow to motivate us for the final few weeks of the season and we need to reflect on where we are and where we are going. The Team have as always worked very hard and we have arranged an evening out in October to say well done to all. We are developing all the time and working harder than ever to stay ahead of the game. These are exciting times and we need to look forward, we have some plans ahead already.
Dagenham are yet to win a game in League One but I will be there next week, and I am already very excited about sampling the delights of the three course buffet and seats in the Sponsors box. It is our first home league game in this division, wish us luck!
Thanks
Mike
Well another early start – will the clan ever learn how to lie in? To be honest if they take after me then probably not.
I was wondering this morning where the Caravan Insurance season has gone. I cannot believe that we are moving towards the winter months at such an alarming rate – our season certainly gets longer every year but it is still seasonal.
Our Caravan Insurance Newsletter has reallygone down a storm and it will be posted on our main website very shortly so please keep your eyes open for it, there is loads of time to enter the caption compteition to win an ipod touch!
I had my regular visit to Kents Bluewater shopping centre yesterday – not sure why i can shop for England but I enjoy myself! Had to pick up some special presents – there is nothing better than choosing for those you care most about. You just have to hope those eyes of disapointment dont make an appearence!
So today is Sunday, the gateway to the end of the week and the entrance to the new one ahead, Mondays always vanish in a flash so a Sunday is like a countdown to the Tuesday – the day which is fast becoming my favouite day of the week!
Have a great Sunday.
Richard
Well the week did fly by but I cannot deny that it certainly had it’s up’s and down’s!
Some days were simply fantastic (earlier in the week!) and others were more difficult. We have a lot going on in the office – we are running a business and sometimes as Directors, you have to make decisions that can be difficult – these are the days you prove to yourself and those around you that you are the leader they are looking for.
I certainly packed in the hours! Last night summed the week up nicely really when at 10pm I had to return to the office as no one had locked it up! But even that journey had it’s upside as I managed to use the time to catch up with some pretty important people by phone!
My ipad remains a great new toy and I am using the You Tube application loads as you can find some great music videos to watch and listen to. One of my current favourites is (no surprise here) a version of One More Night by Phil Collins – it is a really different piano version and it is cool – a bit off putting though as the video is out of sync with the sound!
Our first Caravan newsletter went down really well and we have already had lots of caption competition entries which is great.
My random thought for today is that it is good to miss people, but remember to tell them that is what you are doing so they know you have not dissapeared for a while without them still being an important thought in your head!
Have a great weekend.
Richard
Dear All
Friday is here already and I am very looking forward to a “boys night in” with my son tonight as my partner is out for the night to leave as home alone. What will we get up to? it will seem weird when he goes to bed and I am on my own, a very rare occurrence and I may be naughty and get a Chinese!
We have had a busy week with some strategic planning and development for the Team. Sometimes tough decisions need to be made for the good of us all, and we have long term plans afoot to keep us competitive and it is a real eye opener.
Sophie Morris has been appointed our Assistant Manager this week and we are all very proud of her achievements.
I plan to relax a little tomorrow after a busy week including lots of meetings and Jacob’s immunisations etc
Have a great weekend
Mike
