Wear my hat is a fun song by Phil Collins, I quite like it. It is principly about – is it really that great to be someone else such as a pop star.

It got me thinking this morning, we all wear different hats at different times. We wear them for all sorts of reasons – probably more often than not we wear them to stop being ourselves or to stop feeling hurt or pain or even to try and escape from something.

I suppose the big quest for us is to stop wearing different hats and to try and be more consistent – thus allowing people to really get to know who you are and to help you understand yourself in the process.

This is all probably very deep for 8am on a Wednesday morning but today my little tiny mind it all over the place.

Sometimes events occur around us that we feel we cannot control but in reality we could have done so – it is just easier to say yes or no without thinking about the repurcusions of what is going to then take place.

So, my new thing for today? That is quite simple. I am going to try and wear just one hat today. My own.

Dear All

Well I am exhausted, Lakeside is a very tiring place to go as it’s so huge and the fact that shopping is not a hobby of mine either! I just stood there is a haze and paid which is generally the man’s job isn’t it. We had a meal with my Mum and Dad which was nice and relaxing and a good reward for the busy shops and me being so patient.

Tickets are all booked for the NEC Caravan Show in February, we are looking forward to seeing you there and enjoying the experience and all the new models. We will be distinctive, walking around in our Cover4Caravans polo shirts!

Still we are having a good January and this is always a good sign as the season approaches.
