Ford Focus RS, Avril Lavgine, Phil Collins & Illness

What a mad week. The days flew by and ended with a trip to Nottingham on Thursday where I could not even venture out in the evening as I had spent the day being sick – these bugs are more cantagious than ever I can tell you.

My recovery has been slower than expected – must be an age thing!!

Friday saw another acupuncture session for my knee – something is making a difference, not sure if it is the needles or the actual fear of them!

Yesterday, Saturday, saw me able to pick up my new car, a shiny white Ford Focus RS. A day later I remain lost for words so lets just say that I remain very happy with it.

Avril Lavigne remains the current music of choice, I have been listening to a bit of Phil Collins but not the usual over dose. I must be having a change of taste!

I have downloaded her new single, What the hell, and I must admit it is really good.

Roll on the new album is all I can say!

Well, back to trying to entertain one healthy child and one ill child  - I have even mowed the lawn today. Cold but fun!
