With summer fast approaching, even the most seasoned of caravanners may be getting excited at the prospect of some memorable touring caravan holidays. Getting the best touring caravan insurance may help ensure that, even if you do have an accident of some kind, you may be able to protect both your holiday and your bank balance.
Different providers of touring caravan insurance may view the risks differently. This means that policies may place different emphasis on the various elements of risk that a tourer may face.
The end result of this is that there will be some touring caravan insurance policies, which may more closely match your requirements than others and what is the best touring caravan insurance for another caravanner may not be the best for you.
The only way you will be sure you have the most appropriate cover, may be to compare touring caravan insurance quotes. You may be interested to note that, using our services, we may be able to provide you with quotes even if you have made previous caravan insurance claims.
Concerns
When you are about to set off on your holiday, you may be concerned about what would happen if:
You may consider that the best touring caravan insurance policy may be one which provides for a roadside recovery service and which may even offer a replacement caravan or fund alternative accommodation – so that you can continue with your holiday rather than have to cut things short. Your caravan may even be delivered back to you following repairs.
Another concern you may have is what would happen if your caravan caused damage to another and the other owner sued you. Again there may be significant differences between caravan insurance policies with some offering more generous third-party public liability cover than others.
Replacement
Of course, in some situations you may be faced with the prospect of getting a new for old replacement of your caravan. Perhaps it has been damaged beyond repair or has been stolen.
What may happen in these circumstances could depend on both the age of your caravan and whether or not you have been the sole owner since new.
You may find that there are caravan cover policies which will provide new for old cover for caravans up to 5 years old if you have been the sole owner.
If your tourer was bought ‘pre-owned’, there are policies that may provide new for old cover provided it is less than three years old.
On your search for the best touring caravan insurance cover, you may wish to bear in mind that terms and conditions will vary by policy and reading through them may typically be a sensible idea.
So it has been all change at Watford with the appointment of our new manager from within, the appointment certainly makes sense and hopefully we will see new players coming in before the season starts. He is guranteed a babtism of fire with games against Birmingham and West Ham in the first month as well as Derby. But I remain positive and am looking forward to finding an excuse to see a few games this season.
I went to our local Sportsdirect store over in Basildon at the weekend – why would you buy your trainers and football shirts anywhere else? Last weekend I nearly paid over £100 for a pair of Nike trainers and in this shop I got them for just short of £50.00. Fantastic!
The Caravan Insurance season continues at a pace and the team are really doing well this season, we are enthusiastic and motivated and going that extra mile for all of our customers, our renewal retention is looking good which is a genuine reflection that we are looking after our customers.
The hot weather makes a nice change, it is just a shame we are in the office today and not outside enjoying it!

Last night we went to see The Green Lantern in 3d. I was not impressed. It took him about 2 minutes to kill the bad guy and the story line was as slow as a snail. The 3d effects were Ok but super hero films should obviously always have a love interest but not to the detriment of the rest of the story line. I always know if a film is poor as I get restless very quickly!
I have written before about School PTA’s and how they always seem under valued, as my house fills up with more and more summer fun day gear and the event day draws ever nearer I hope that I am not the only one who can see all the hard work that the members are putting in. I just hope the sun comes out to play on the 10th July! (As the Fire service are attending most of the ladies probably hope it’s hot enough for the fire men to have to hose someone down!).
It has certainly been a long week, but if you can keep smiling then you are doing OK.
Have a great weekend.
Richard
Mrs O from Doncaster commented:
“I would congratulate your company for the quick efficient handling of this policy”
Our new clan member should arrive around the 13th August as I have blogged before.
We have to choose from two girls and we now know that this will take place on the 16th July – how on earth will we choose?
