Although it may seem unlikely, some caravanners may believe that there is little point in trying to compare static caravan insurance.

They may feel that it’s something of a waste of time and that such insurance is either all much the same or mandatory as part of your site’s conditions.

In fact, these assumptions may be incorrect and you may find more appropriate cover and more cost-effective solutions, if you do take the trouble to compare static caravan insurance.

This is hardly a difficult thing to do as today’s telephone and internet services, such as those we provide, typically make it easy to be able to look at alternative solutions. Once you have choice, you may find that you benefit accordingly.

It is also typically found to be the case that insurance policies may vary quite significantly and are simply not all the same.

The position with respect to caravan site insurance is a little more complicated but still worth thinking about.

Some site owners may attempt to suggest that it is obligatory to purchase your insurance from them whereas in fact, it may typically not be and you may find that more cost-effective solutions are available through insurance you have purchased yourself.

Differences may also exist not just in the price but also in areas such as the cover provided.

For example, some static caravan insurance may include cover for awnings whereas other polices may not.  You may also find that some policies contain far more exclusions than others – something that you may wish to discover in advance rather than in the context of a claim.

In all of these things, you may find it difficult to ascertain what is in your best interests unless you are prepared to look around a little. Given the sums of money you may have invested in your caravan, it would appear to only make sense and through our services, we would be only too glad to help.

So, rather than dismissing the efforts of some to compare static caravan insurance as a waste of time, it may be something worth taking a little more seriously.

Another week flies by. Today was a long but good day spent in the City of London. We ate in one of my fav’ places, Sweet Basil, which is located near Liverpool Street. They always make me feel welcome and they never rush you out the door – sometimes unsual in the bustle of the city.

Next week see’s me embark upon the first 2 days of my 5 day Health & Safety Level 4 course – I must admit I find myself quite apprehensive about the whole thing, with a number of pass or fail exams at the end it could all end in disaster. I do hope not!

Next week starts with a Governor Meeting on the Monday – I think it promises to be interesting as we wil be appointing our Chair and Vice Chair. This is followed by a trip to see my team, WatfordFC, on the Tuesday evening with my good friend from Arista Insurance. We haven’t been for a little while so we will be childishly excited as always!

Then the week vanishes and ends with an overnight stay up in Nottingham – one of my favourite places. Lots of business to be done before our evening out and then dash back to the office on the Friday.

The weekend? Is there one inbetween the bustle of work? Ofcourse there is and I will be cramming it with quality time with the clan and a trip to Bluewater for some Xmas Shopping and I get to clean the new car on Sunday – Hooray!

For those of you who don’t know remember we are on twitter @cover4caravans where you are welcome to join us!

Have a great weekend.

“I have to say that we are very pleased with the way we were delt with, this was a very different way than the way we were treated by SAGA. I am sorry yhat we did’nt give you a call to let you know that the policy had arrives. We were delighted with the profesinel way we were treated, and I am sorry that we did not call you to let you know that we had recieved our documents. THIS WAS FAR BETTER THAN THE YREATMENT WE RECIEVED FROM saga.  “

Dear All

Well another week draws to a close and after a hectic birthday weekend I am looking forward to a quiet time with the family.

Tomorrow I have a meeting with my New Business Team to look at targets for December and where we can provide the best service and get sales etc which is always an interesting exchange of views.

Next week does not let up either, six monthly 121 appraisals with my excellent Team, a vist from an Insurer and a trip to our largest insurer on Thursday before our monthly Team meeting on Friday.

On a personal note I have been preparing some goals for 2012 both personally and professionally which is always nice to sit and target yourself to see how succesful you have been in the year. Some things I am not sure will happen, some are things I need to do for my family and others are growth for myself and my hard working Team.

Roll on 2012!!!

Mike
