If you currently have caravan insurance that you are content with, you may ask yourself why you would wish to take the trouble of getting another caravan insurance quote?

Here are a few reasons as to why you may wish to do so:

  • if you have been renewing your existing caravan insurance for some time but without comparing it to other options in the marketplace, you may find it difficult to describe it as being the best caravan cover for you;

  • what may have been suitable caravan cover for you some years ago, when you first took out the policy, may no longer be so;

  • even if the policy remains suitable, you may find that there are other caravan insurance policies that are perhaps more cost-effective in terms of the cover they provide for the amount you are paying;

  • a significant factor in helping you to decide whether or not to seek a comparison with another caravan insurance quote, may be the realisation that the insurance industry evolves and changes rapidly – it may well be the case that there are now policies available on the marketplace offering facilities and options that were simply unavailable when you first took out your existing cover;

  • it is a fact of life that looking for individual caravan insurance quotations and then trying to compare one against another, may be rather time-consuming – we may be able to help you with that though by offering access to several insurers and quotations at one go;

  • of course, what may prove to be the best caravan insurance for someone else may prove not to be so for you, so when you are looking at quotations, it is important that they are read in some detail and assessed as being suitable for your needs;

  • in today’s harsh economic climate, being confident that we are getting value for money at the same time as securing excellent insurance protection for our caravans, may be important to many of us – one way of providing yourself with some reassurance on that subject is to seek a caravan insurance quote or two.

Dear All

Well today is back to the office after a wonderful and well earned (come would say!) 2 day break with my loving family. It is fantastic to see how my son has developed over the last few months and now we have nursery to look forward to.

We watched the Inbetweeners film again on Christmas Day and it was as funny as the first time, very well made.

Some things have annoyed me though over the last couple of days, and maybe it’s my parenting ideals but I personally think that if a child is upset in a restaurant the parents should take them home. This poor child was screaming for 45 minutes straight with 4 adults around who did nothing. I have a 2 year old and to be honest it is far too early to go into restaurants with him, but these are the sacrifices you make.

No real plans for New Year, we will probably stay in with a glass of bubbly and toast 2012!

Have a happy New Year

Mike

Google alerts are good. I received my daily Phil Collins update today and there is a new DVD coming out in March 2012. It is of a performance back in 2004 at Montreux and it is on blu ray! The added benefit is that it has some exclusive footage of Phils Big Band. Now I was lucky enough to see Phil’s Big Band live at the Royal Festival Hall but that was a long time ago – so this is good news for us mad Phil fans!

So Watford FC, my team, are slowly lifting themselves away from the dreaded relegation zone and we earned a good point at home to Cardiff on Boxing Day. On the down side rumours are flying that Blackburn may bid up to £5m for our England U21 striker. Taking into consideration the amoujt of goals he has not scored for us perhaps this is a good deal. It will be if we are actually allowed to spend the money rather than it being used to pay debts and line the owners pockets.

Our new Caravan Insurance branding comes live in January and it may even happen, as planned, on or around the 4th January. It is exciting times for us here as it is a brave and modern new brand and is not for the faitn hearted! I am comfortable with it but then I would be wouldn’t I?

This is the official inbetween Xmas week where it ie neither still Xmas nor is it the New Year. Should there not be a name for it? Maybe Fat Week of feel guilty week for having eaten like a herd of horses week?

I hope you all had a great Xmas.

Richard

Dear All

How was the Christmas period for you? Well for me it was more about time spent in the kitchen than any other room, Gammon, Turkey and Beef were all cooked which might seem a trifle over the top for basically 2 people. Never mind, I have been enjoying the cold meat salad’s while my partner eats stuffing sarnies, well she is from “up North!

It’s still a learning curve for our son though, he was very overwhelmed with all the presents and he has some more this afternoon as my Nan and Grandad are visiting as we have not seen them over the festive period.

Have you got any resolutions planned? I have…whether I will stick to them I don’t know but I have to be positive and say I will!

Have a Happy New Year from all at Cover4

Mike

If you are keen to ensure that you are still getting a cost-effective solution out of your insurance, you may wish to think about carrying out a static caravan insurance comparison:

  • if you currently use caravan site insurance provided by the site owners, keep in mind that you may be under no obligation to do so and that you may be able to find more cost-effective solutions by purchasing your cover from a caravan insurance specialist such as ourselves;

  • even if you are content with the cover provided by your existing policy, carrying out a static caravan insurance comparison may indicate that things have changed in the marketplace since you last looked – once again, that may offer you opportunities for more cost-attractive policies, broader cover or both;

  • while you are engaged in a static caravan insurance compare, try to avoid being overly swayed by advertisements claiming to offer cheap static caravan insurance – the cover provided may not be adequate for your situation and you run the risk of discovering the hard way that what is cheap for somebody else may not end up being cheap for you;

  • while reviewing your insurance position for your static caravan, be aware that typical static caravan insurance may not cover the full-time occupation of your caravan if you are living in it on a permanent basis – if you are, you may need to consider park home insurance or something similar;

  • some policies may be markedly more flexible in terms of their approach to new for old caravan cover than others, particularly if your caravan is up to five years old and you have been the sole owner, or three years old or under but with previous owners;

  • all caravan insurance typically contains its own set of terms and conditions and these may be considerably different from one policy to another. Therefore, it is important that when comparing policies, you include these Ts and Cs in your considerations and look out for clauses that may not suit you and the way you use your caravan;

  • as you may expect, caravan insurance policies may offer different aspects of cover, however, you may also find that they offer different opportunities for discounts – and these may make a significant difference to your final price;

  • your static caravan insurance comparison activities may end up making a noticeable improvement in your cover or saving you money but they may also consume a little of your time – we may be able to help reduce this time even further for you by presenting you with the different options, so that all you need to do is select the caravan cover that most suits your needs.
