Dear All
Well April is here and to be honest the year has simply flown by, so much has happened and it only really hits you when you get 5 minutes to think about it (a very rare occurrence!). My son has started nursery and his learning has picked up a great deal, due in no small part to my partner who is a great teacher and very patient.
This week sees a day off tomorrow to take my son to nursery and a half day on Thursday to enjoy some family time, ahead of a big Easter weekend and I am hoping to see my Nan and Grandad for a visit.
Hopefully the rumours of snow are not correct, we are hoping all of our caravanners can get out and about as it is the right time for these things, we have seen an increase in numbers and particularly online conversions over the last week.
If you are out over the weekend feel free to drop us a response to this post, as our own Cover4Caravans Director Richard is away in a static this week as well, lucky him!
One last point, Dagenham’s “Great Escape” may be on after we won at Port Vale at the weekend to go 5 points clear of the bottom spots, my Mum, Dad and Sister went on the train as they wanted to preserve their petrol but don’t think they really enjoyed the experience, my Dad likes the freedom of the car and it was a bit late on the return. Come on you Reds!
Have a great day
Mike
Dear All
Well as you know by now we have moved to our brand new offices at Baxter Avenue and it is all very exciting, we the Cover4 Team have our own room at the front and it’s been a big change after my 9 years spent at our previous location.
My son has settled in well at nursery after tearful beginnings, he is going through some separation issues at the moment when he returns but he is branching out and eating different snacks, I was amazed to hear that he had eaten kiwi and carrots, which he wouldnt touch at home!!
Me and my partner are going to struggling Dagenham and Redbidge on Saturday for another vital game against Cheltenham, whom are up at the top so not alot of chance of a win. However we are in the sponsors box so a nice carvery (though my partner will not touch it!) and a drink at half time will be nice.
The New Business Team are off to the Excel Caravan show in London on Thursday and Friday to have a look around, they are very much looking forward to going and seeing the new models, they have a presentation to do to the rest of the Team at our next Team meeting which will be very interesting for them.
Reports from the Show to follow…

Dear All
New research from one of Britain’s biggest Caravan Clubs suggests that all of the family can benefit from a touring caravan holiday, not just adults.
Alongside promoting family togetherness, relaxation and social growth, touring holidays help build mental and physical strength, good behaviour and a more cohesive family unit. The Caravanning and Camping Club’s research encompassed more than 60 studies from Liverpool John Moores University, and 87% of children said the countryside made them happy, 73% of adults feel camping is something all children should do, 59% of adults think camping should be part of the National Curriculum, and nearly 80% of children want to go camping.
Caravanning can also help children become interested in the world around them and make them more attentive. We at Cover4Caravans have noted the average age of our client base is 52, and many families are taking to caravanning as a cheaper family holiday instead of expensive foreign jaunts.

Dear All
It is my other halfs birthday on Monday so this weekend sees us having a family meal and she will be shopping with her mother on the day whilst I babysit, I am looking forward to spending some quiet time without her!! I have the week off so we have some activities planned and hopefully we can have a lunch together at some point.
The working week has been very quiet with the weather being so bright I think everyone has gone away so if you are away I hope you are having a great time.
I have my Team One To Ones this morning which is always enlightening and a chance to motivate not just the Team but inadvertently myself!!!
Have a great day
Mike
Dear All
Well the sun is finally out here in Southend, we may actually be in for some good weather for a sustained period. If this keeps up a trip to the park could be on for the weekend.
I say star spotting, but only in a football sense. I was at Dagenham last night for our game with Peterborough and Barry Fry, Tony Cottee and Alex Ferguson’s son, Darren were there. I was suprised at some of the industrial language used by Ferguson Junior but in hindsight it was not much of a shock!
Hopefully the sun will mean that you can all get out in your caravans to a nice UK destination to keep the economy running smoothly (as smoothly as possible!) so if you are out caravanning have a great time…and don’t forget your insurance!!
