Well we have certainly had some glorious weather this week.  The weekend saw me visiting my brothers woods in Kent and the weather was wonderful, although was a bit chilly at night.  This was the first outing of the year for my tent and am already planning to go back at Easter.  You certainly notice the luxuries of home after spending a few days in the woods with no amenities, even simple things like washing up are a well planned exercise to conserve water.

Monday was a fantastic day at work, the sunshine brought out all the caravanners and it was lovely to speak to so many people, sometimes I wish I could spend longer on the call.

The clocks changed at the weekend I do enjoy going home in the sunlight and taking the dog for a walk down the beach, it also means I can do more things outside with the cub group I run.

This weekend sees a visit to Thorpe Park, which I know my 2 children are looking forward to, although apparently the good weather isn’t meant to last till then.  Enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Well what a weekend we’ve just had, I think most of the country saw some snow, here in Southend we had about 10 inches. The big kid in me came out and as usual  I was in the park sledging by ten o’clock with my son. Hope you all stayed warm and safe.

This weekend was a nice quiet one and managed to catch up on some household bits and chill a little which was needed.  My daughter was at a scout camp as a young leader so it was nice to have some time with my son.

Football, I’m one of the strange women who support Southend United I know I’ve heard it all before, that someone has to. This weekend our match was the only one  played in division 2  and we were away to Plymouth. What a disastrous game, 2 goals up in the first half then four minutes to final whistle Plymouth scored twice. A game we should have won with no problems and we struggled again. Apparently the journey home was horrendous took the team thirteen and a half hours and one of the supporter coaches skidded into the central reservation on the M25.  Glad I gave this game a miss.

Well we’ve nearly completed the last Monday in this office as we move at the weekend. I can’t wait to be in our new building,

Have fun this week and stay safe.
