Hello All,

I know what your all thinking, ‘She must be barking mad!’, well the truth is yes. I am petrified of heights, I have a fear of falling, and I can get a bit icky on a plane. So why on earth would I choose to jump out of a plane you ask? Well we are teaming up with a great charity called ‘Bosom Pals’ who are part of our local NHS Hospital (Southend-on-Sea) to raise money to achieve their ambitious goal of £750,000. This money goes towards supporting people with breast cancer and we hope to help towards providing:

- 2 Digital Mammography Machines

- Digital Faxitron

- Digital Biopsy Machine

- MRI Breast Coil

- Improvements to the cancer wards of Southend Hospital

The main objective of the charity is ‘For the relief of sickness and the protection and preservation of health; by providing and assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and amenities at Southend Hospital”.

We are trying to raise awareness and also contribute as much as we can to the charity, with a little biot of help from everyone we could raise a considerable amount – hopefully something worth riskng my life for!

If you would like to donate please follow this link – http://www.justgiving.com/James-Titmuss

Thanks Very Much

Hello All,

I spoke to soon and here I am again. It is just a quick note to advise there will be an increase in IPT with effect from 04/01/2010, from 5% to 6%. The increase will change all renewal, new business and endorsements. Obviously its not a huge increase, but could make a difference on higher premiums. As your caravan insurance provider will we find the best and most competitive premium we can, however if you do find us uncompetitive please contact us with no hesitation to see what we can do.

Thanks Soph

Hello

With the snow vanishing slowly, we apparently have more on the way! Fingers crossed for a white Christmas, (I am sure alot of people will hate me for it) I love it it and I don’t understand why it causes such chaos. Its not like were snowed in is it? Its not like we cant open our front doors? It’s about 20 cm of snow that just about comes up to your knee. Oh well you can’t beat a bit of drama can you, its funny when people are coming into work telling there tales on how they risked there lives just to get in (have to admit I had a few funnies to tell). As Long as you careful in your car, or walking there should be no issue.

Well now that my minor rant is over……….we can talk about Christmas! It’s only 9 sleeps to Christmas, and I am getting a little excited. Just got a bit of wrapping to do and I am sorted, hopefully be able to sit peacefully in front of the fire on Christmas Eve, before the chaos begins!

I wonder if anyone is brave enough to go away this year in their caravan? Let us know if you do and any exciting tales to tell.

I am sure I will blog just before, but just in case have a fantastic Christmas and a Great New Year!

Hello All,

Well the temperature has well and truly plummeted and I am sure we are all feeling the cold. It snowed today, and unlike some people who think it causes inconvenience and chaos I really love it. We all just need to make sure we are careful on the roads and not to take any risks. Although we are good on the roads doesn’t mean our cars will behave, just like mine, my car now has no heating in it and only blows out cold air. It’s as cold in my car as it is out I can even see my breath! Oh well can’t have it all can we.

A few recent events in my life have put alot of things in perspective and I am now not trying to moan about silly little things (which is tough I can tell you). I think all of us need to sit back and see how lucky we are, and its amazing to realise what you have compared to some.

On another optimistic note I would like to congratulate my partner Simon who has now started his new job, if you read my last blog he was out of work for a while and it was getting us both down with job hunting and he has finally found something that is right up his street. I am very proud of him and we can now have a nice relaxing Christmas together.

We are currently in the process of completing our Christmas caravan newsletter, and I hope you are looking forward to it. Has a slight twist to it making it more fun and exciting, and of course our caption competition with a different prize. You will have to wait and see though can’t be going around spoiling surprises.

So again be careful on the roads and look out for the newsletter coming soon!

Take Care

Sophie

Hello All,

Long time no write, been a very busy bee recently. Well its the best day of the week, Friday, start of the weekend and a nice sleep will do me good. I have been job hunting every night for my boyfriend to help him out who unfortunately lost his job recently, it makes you think at how lucky you are to have a job and to have money coming in every month. The novelty of not having to work everyday is sure wearing thin with him and now he would just like a job. I can not believe how hard it is to get one nowadays, but with the economy the way it is I should not be surprised really. Hopefully as he has a lot of interviews next week and fingers crossed he gets at least one offer.

Looming around the corner is my favourite time of year, Christmas. I always look forward to it, spending time with family and friends and everyone happy with Christmas cheer. It does feel this year that will be a lot of stress though due to money being tight, but its not all about presents. Even if you just spend some quality time with family, and make each second count, but then we should do that every day we only live once.

We have had a very quiet week, especially caravans. However we have been making the best of our leads and hopefully you appreciate the hard work we put into getting you the most most competitive and the best cover possible.  It is also nice as we get  to spend more time talking to you, our clients.

Take Care and have a great weekend

Sophie
