It was a long weekend – but a good one. Me, Sophie and Sian ventured off to Newark at the weekend to attend the fair. We arrived Friday evening, so we were ready and raring in the morning to set up our pitch. The early start proved difficult for some, especially after our celebratory drink the previous night – we thought it necessary seeing as we had survived Sophie’s driving after all!
The weather was dry with sunny spells, we can’t complain there! We saw a few of our customers at the show and it was very nice to finally put a face to the voice we converse with over the telephone. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and entered our prize draw competition. This proved a big success and it gave us great satisfaction to be able to give away a pair of camping chairs to all of our winners. Thank you to all those who participated.
It was a good turn out and I think I can speak for us all when I say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Best wishes
Jade
Dear All
Well Sian, Sophie and Jade were at the Cover4Caravans Autumn Fair in Newark at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed themselves meeting all of the caravan and motorhome owners and giving away prizes. I think their enjoyment may also have been due to the night out in Lincoln where I believe a few beverages were sunk!
I haven’t been to McDonalds (Maccy d’s as we say here) for a long time and Jecelda and Jade brought some back from lunch and I have been unable to think about anything since so I may drag the family down there for a treat.
Of course it’s not easy at the moment with the current economic climate, with some saying it’s our worst position since 1982 under Mrs Thatcher. So the news that Inland Revenue may have undercharged some Britons and will ask for the money back has caused some distaste here.
I also watched the Andrew Marr Interview with Tony Blair last night as my partner was asleep, whatever you make of him Tony Blair is a great orator and whilst I disagree with Iraq and other things he is probably the most charismatic Prime Minister since Mrs Thatcher. He also admitted some of his errors (a great trick when you have left office I know) but was this all to sell his memoirs? Of course but he is still a major political figure and did do some good things in power.
Anyways, that’s enough from me for now!

Dear All
Well Sophie, Jade and Sian are off to the Cover4Caravans Autumn Fair in Newark today and are looking forward to meeting as many caravanners as possible. I would have gone myself but I have daddy duties over the weekend and also I am playing golf with a mate of mine.
I do hope as many of you visit the Fair as possible, I did go to the 2009 March event and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. I spoke with Neil who is part of the organizers and he said they hope the event will keep growing and growing. The other major benefit is the outdoors section, which was great for some fresh air and a nice walk.
Apart from that it’s a quiet weekend spent with my family, my son is now toddling around the place and it’s great to see. I am very proud of him and it is a great testamont to my partner who looks after him exceptionally well while I am at work.
We had our monthly Team meeting this morning to motivate ourselves for the last caravanning month of the year, here’s to a good month!
Enjoy your weekend
Mike
Over the two days of the show we gave away 10 iPod Shuffles and the star
prize was a portable Bose iPod dock and an iPod Nano.
We had 11 winners and each of them was surprised to have won a prize –
we all go around thinking we will never win anything but at the end of
the day someone has to win.
We had a great time at the Spring Fair and we would like to again
congratulate all our winners and thank everybody who entered.
The two days at the show were not all about being chained to our stand,
we took the opportunity to get out and about and look at all the Touring
Caravans and Motor Homes being displayed. We may know a lot about
Caravan Insurance but you can always learn more and what better way than
climbing in and out of display models!

Look at all those Touring Caravans - and we can happily offer Touring Caravan Insurance for them all!
